Christchurch City Council lodged their resource consent application to Environment Canterbury, who will now publicly notify the resource consent application shortly. Consent information can be found on their website. Friends of Banks Peninsula will provide updated information when it becomes available.
A new report prepared for the Council by Beca confirms Friends of Banks Peninsula's concerns about the proposals inadequate storage capacity and that there will be both raw and treated sewage overflows into the Grehan Stream at Children's Bay.
