Read two shocking reports from BECA. The first sets out that the wastewater flows from Akaroa are much higher than thought and the system proposed in the consent application is now anticipated to regularly overflow both raw and treated wastewater. This will happen behind the Akaroa Recreation ground into the town's most flood prone area. The second report recommends that despite this, Duvauchelle wastewater is added to the Akaroa system.
