• Read our wastewater presentation to the Christchurch City Council Long Term Plan 2024/34 or watch on YouTube 

• Read the Beca report commissioned by the Council revealing that the new system as applied for will regularly overflow raw sewage (p26), treated sewage (p34) and Council is considering treatment bypass during times of high volume (p33)

• Read the latest Beca report recommending the Duvauchelle and Akaroa wastewater systems are combined despite frequent overflows.

• Environment Canterbury will publicly notify the resource consent application shortly.  The application can be found on their website but not the Beca reports with the corrected wastewater flow information.
