Community Board delegation

February has proved to be a month of ups and downs so far, starting on a high with a deputation at the Community Board meeting in Lyttelton on January 30th to present the Community Strategy. Eighteen residents from both Robinsons Bay and Takamatua supported the deputation, packing the meeting room to capacity. Lee Robinson presented 53 apologies and the Community Strategy on behalf of FRIENDS of Banks Peninsula and asked the Community Board to endorse it. The Board received and acknowledged the Strategy and agreed to set up a Working Party to investigate land disposal more thoroughly.
